Dr. Mark Agyei explained that “as CEO of the clinic I believe is part of our social responsibilities to give to the fatherless and as the Holy Bible says. So I see it being a privilege to give back to the society what we have received from the Lord. The fact is that we have been doing this for the past five (5) years now”.
Delivery his New Year message, Dr. Mark Agyei urged Ghanaians to be careful of five (5) things as they usher into 2019 as these things will define how well Ghanaians will live to work effectively to progress the country and their families.
“Firstly, we should be careful with what we drink even if it is water. We should make sure the water is clean and nice and we should try as much as possible to avoid alcohol so that the body will free Lungs cancer and Liver Conditions”.
“Secondly, we should be careful with things that we eat because you are what you eat. Thirdly, we should do regular medical checkups so that we can possibly see the conditions before they get out of hands. You know in this country our major problem is we don’t like going for checkups and that’s why we are always battling with serious medical problems”.
He mentioned the fourth thing that Ghanaians should do next year is to do regular exercise as exercise helps prevent a lot of medical conditions like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and even heart conditions.
“As a matter of fact, regular exercise increases production of insulin from the pancreas which serves as a key to open the cells doors for the excess glucose to enter the cells for energy”, he noted.
“The fifth point is that we should have enough rest to always refresh our bodies and minds and it serves as a time to replace and repair any energy that has been lost during the working activities”, he added.
