Reverend Dr. Kwame Appiah-Kubi, the Senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God, Light House Central, at Akwatia-line, a suburb of Kumasi, has said 2019, holds good prospects for Ghana.
He however, noted that only in unity of mind and purpose that Ghanaians could attain and enjoy the prospects.
Rev. Dr. Appiah-Kubi who doubles as the Ashanti East Regional Secretary of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, made the remarks in an interview with the Ghana News Agency adding that it was high time Ghanaians moved away from partisan politics and placed the interest of the nation first against any form of affiliation.
The Senior Pastor bemoaned the situation where sympathisers of a ruling political party see nothing wrong with steps taken in governance, while those of the opposing divide, and negate every move of the former, virtually seen as thwarting incumbent’s efforts.
“Such unhealthy political rivalry, interspersed with incessant blame games, was a serious affront to effective nation building and retards progress,” he said.
Rev. Dr. Appiah-Kubi urged Ghanaians to put away all negative tendencies, and with the right attitude, rally solidly behind President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s government to build strong, healthy and a wealthy nation for all Ghanaians irrespective of party affiliations
