The 31st December Womens Movement has been sued at an Accra High Court.
A writ exclusively cited by Citi News seeks to evict the movement from its current premises for non-payment of rent.
Though the initial hearing was scheduled for Monday 4th of June 2012, lawyers for the movement headed by Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings managed to get an adjournment to Thursday 7th of June.
This was to enable the movement to fully partake in the 33rd edition of the June 4th celebrations.
In a studio interview on Citi Prime News, the Operations Director of (FONKAR) Friends of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Ernest Owusu-Bempah confirmed receipt of the legal processes but declined further comment.
The will be a hearing in court on the matter on 7th June.
