The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday voted in a Super Delegates congress to trim down seven candidates vying for the position of the flagbearership position to five.
At the end of the day, Nana Akufo Addo, Alan Kyerematen, Addai Nimoh, Joe Ghartey and Osei Ameyaw were the five who were elected to contest for the position.
Even though it was all an NPP affair, a popular serial caller of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) was seen at the School of Engineering, KNUST, Kumasi; the venue where delegates were voting in the Ashanti Region.
When our Ashanti Regional correspondent, Isaac Owusu asked what he was doing there, he said he was just there for sightseeing and to support NPP.
