Audio Attachment:Listen to Nana Addo |
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo has responded to critics who accuse him of adminstering power as if he is on a marathon race.
The President few days after being sworn into office, implemented various changes including bringing out list of his ministers as well.
While some political pundits commended him for his pace and zeal to immediately get to work, others claimed he had more time; hence there was no need to rush.
Speaking on the floor of parliament during his first State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Akufo Addo said inorder to fulfill his promises; he needs to be in a ‘hurry’.
“I am indeed in a hurry; I am in a hurry to put a government together. I am in a great hurry…” he said.
He therefore commended the appointment committee for ‘judiciously’ approving all his appointees for them to quickly get to work.
