Accra Great Olympics could face demotion from the Ghana Premier League for their refusal to respect the Player Status Committee decision in respect of their GH¢18,000 debt owed to Medeama SC representing transfer fee of Player Joseph Halm from Medeama SC.
The Wonder Club as part of an impending sanctioning could be demoted to Ghana’s second-tier League should they fail to comply with the Ghana Football Association’s decision.
Olympics have been given one-year to pay the said amount in full or face demotion from Ghana’s elite division.
The situation means the Teshie-based Club will be ejected from the domestic-top-flight should they escape relegation and fail to pay the said amount to Medeama.
The Club is currently struggling in the Ghana Premier League as they 13th on the League table with 7 points.
