Accra Hearts of Oak have thrashed reports in the media indicating they have withdrawn from the FA’s special Gala competition which is slated for 28-29 January.
Reports were rife the Rainbow Club have pulled out of the two-day competition which is to prepare the Premier League Clubs ahead of the League season.
Speaking in an interview with ATV, spokesperson of the Club Opare Addo rebuffed the reports hinting his outfit has not intentions to boycott the competition.
"It has come to us, as a big surprise that we have pulled out of the competition, these stories are false and needs no attention" He stated.
The Ghanaian giant have been preparing for upcoming competition which is slated in Kumasi.
