Black Stars assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu is likely to join his former Club Asante Kotoko, Ghanasportsonline.com understands.
The Coach is nearing a return to the Porcupine Warriors after agreeing verbal terms with the Club.
Sources reveal Konadu will be confirmed new head Coach for Kotoko in the coming days.
Kotoko appointed Godwin Ablordey and Frimpong Manso to take charge of the team until further notice following the sacking of Croatian trainer Zdravsko Lugarosic.
Konadu won the Ghana Premier League title with Kotoko in the 2011/12 season before leaving to take up the Black Stars assistant Coaching job.
Barring any last minute hitch, the ex-Ghana international will take up the top job at Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors have been struggling in the Ghana Premier League having failed to pick a win in their last five matches.
