The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak have shrugged off reports in the media suggesting their endorsement to the outspoken female lawyer for the upcoming Ghana Football Association elections.
Popular Ghanaian Lawyer Amanda Akuoko Clinton stated emphatically on Thursday that Hearts of Oak have proposed her to vie for the vacant Ghana Football Association Presidency.
A Press release from a Hearts of Oak board member, Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe indicated that no individual from their outfit has proposed an aspirant for the next month's elections.
Seven football administrators namely George Kwasi Afriyie,Wilfred Osei Kwaku, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Amanda Akuoko Clinton and Lawyer George Ankamah Mensah submitted their documents to the Ghana FA on Friday.
The 2019 Ghana Football Association elections will be held on 25th October 2019.
