The Accra High Court has dismissed an interlocutory application which sought to halt the planned concession of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to a private entity as part of an agreement between the company and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). BXC Company Limited, one of the companies which lost the bid to manage the ECG under a concession agreement, filed the application after it sued the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), the institution spearheading the process.
