National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu says government is vainly attempting to cover up the recent cocaine bust of Ms. Nayele Ametefe at Heathrow Airport. Speaking on Peace FM's Morning Show, John Boadu was worried over the response from the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) indicating that the arrest was a collaboration between them and its British counterparts. John Boadu called for heads to roll at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) Security core if indeed it was a collaborative effort by the NACOB to arrest the "cocaine" woman. NACOB's disclosure that the woman was arrested at Heathrow Airport through its cooperation with its British connections has widely been taken with a pinch of salt. Political commentators as Kwesi Pratt, Editor-in-Chief of Insight newspaper, Kweku Baako, Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide, Communications Minister, Dr. Omane Boamah among others have vehemently challenged the statement by the NACOB over the cocaine bust. Dr. Omane Boamah is reported to have said he is uncertain about the "collaboration news" that NACOB has put out into the public domain. Addressing the issue, the NPP National Organizer was doubtful about the rationale behind NACOB's press statement. "What prompted that man and that institution to make that statement is what is important to me. Why did he make such a rush? And most of these things, take a look at Watergate scandal and others; it�s not the matter that�s the issue but the attempt by government to cover up. Clearly, what we are saying is a cover-up.� To him, this cocaine issue will never die that easily since he smells a cover-up plot by government in the case. "This matter can never die. I don�t care�If indeed NPP were manufacturing cocaine at their Headquarters; I believe everybody in this country knows that it was bad if that was what it was. So, no attempt by anybody should, in this debate, say that you want to do �equalization'", he stressed.
