Provisional results has it that Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is leading the Vice Chairman position with 517 votes making him the first Vice Chairman in the 8th National Congress of the ruling National Democratic Congress. The Vice Chairman position (6 in all) will be occupied by persons selected from the contestants per their performance in the election.
