Ningo-Prampram Will Fall For NPP- Sylvester Tetteh

Sylvester Tetteh, 2012 Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, has said that the mistakes the party committed in the last general election will not be repeated in the 2016 elections and that the constituency shall fall for the opposition party.

Mr. Tetteh, popularly called Sly, says he and the party executive have mapped out effective strategies to beat the NDC to the seat. He told these paper moments after he had submitted his nomination form at Old Ningo.

He said, "I'm matured now in the body politic in Ningo-Prampram and I can confidently tell you that I am claiming this seat for the NPP and Nana Addo in the next general elections. I can tell you that my research team has braced themselves for the tricks and wits the NDC dazed us with in the last elections."

Sylvester Tetteh is going unopposed for the second time as the NPP's Parliamentary candidate and overwhelmed by the teeming supporters who welcomed him before trekking to the party office to pick his form, he said the crowd was assuring and the members had shown their readiness to work for the party's victory in 2016.

The NPP, he said, is ready to match and debate the NDC on achievements in the constituency as according to him, the NDC has nothing to show for as a legacy for the constituency. He whipped up delegates in the constituency to vote out the NDC for neglect, incompetence, mismanagement and corruption, explaining that the NDC has drowned the country in an 'economic abyss'.

He reminded the delegates-both at Prampram and Ningo-to shun fanning ethnocentric politics and unite for a resounding win against the NDC. Addo Emmanuel, Constituency Secretary who received the nomination form on behalf of Al-Latif Amanor, Constituency chairman, expressed immense confidence in the nominee. He said the nominee has been so appealing to the party in the constituency hence his going unopposed for the second successive time in the history of the NPP in the constituency.
