The 5th edition Tigo Ghana Meets Naija came off successfully at the Accra International Conference Centre last Saturday.
The event saw the 2000 capacity auditorium filled spectacular, performances from the various artistes, energetic audience and off course enough news for the media.
The show started with curtain raiser performances by sensational Singer Nero X, MzVee, Dobble, Keche, Gallaxy, and Ruff N Smooth among others. There was also a surprise performance from Nigeria’s Sheyi Shay and comedy from DKB and Afia Schwarzenegger.
Highlight on the night was when Ghana current big three artistes Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonewboy took their turns to entertainment the audience. They all did what they could on stage to show their individual artistry and to justify their billing on the show.
Nigeria’s Mavins, led by the indefatigable Don Jazzy lived up to expectation when the thrilled fans at the Tigo Ghana Meets, on Saturday night. With a well-produced and themed performance which started with Reekado Banks,Di’Ja, Korede Bello, D’Prince, Dr Sid and Don Jazzy, the Mavins closed the show which lasted for some 5 hours with the crowd up and dancing. They performed their hit songs Looku Looku, Adaobi and Dorobucci much to the delight of the fans.
The event was powered by Empire Entertainment, proudly headlined by Tigo Music and supported by UniBank, Hennessy, Oak Plaza Hotel, Africa World Airlines, Best Western Hotel, Enovate, Mentos and Euro Star limousines.
