When Ghanaian Satirist and Radio Presenter Afia Schwarzenegger posted on social media earlier this year that she wanted to marry Mavin boss Don Jazzy, in response to his call for help in order for him settle down this year, the two had no idea they were going to be friends beyond social media.

Don Jazzy kicked off the light hearted campaign by showing off a plaque to his several followers on Instagram seeking for their ‘help’ to achieve his aim of marrying in 2015. He posted a picture of him holding a plain white card with the inscription “Pls Help!!! I need to marry in 2015”

Afia couldn’t help but respond with a picture of herself with a brown cardboard captioned “I want to marry Don Jazzy 2015” on social media just to get at the respected label executive and music producer.

The two have been friends on social media since then and they met each other for the first time in a true "Ghana meets Naija" scenario last Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The controversial Ghanaian TV/Radio host who has not hidden the fact that she is a fan of Don Jazzy’s music did whatever she could to meet him back stage at the just ended Tigo Ghana Meets Naija and truly she met the Don with his entire Mavins crew.

She spent some time with the “Dorobuchi” man and his team from Nigeria including Reekado Banks, Dr SID, Korede Bello, Di'Ja and D' Prince, chit chatting and taking pictures before their splendid performance on stage.

It is not too clear what they spoke about but they both seemed quite excited seeing each other for the first time.
