Bukom Banku & Two Thoozin To Mark BECE English Language 2 Papers

This year’s BECE English Language 2 which was re-written will be marked by Bukom Banku and Two Thoozin, according to a source at the Ministry of Education.

This follows government’s earlier decision to detail National Security officials to take over the administration of the 5 papers which were cancelled after reports that the question papers had been leaked. Officials of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), the subregional body in charge of examinations in Ghana had been excluded from the entire process after it emerged that certain WAEC officials had played a part in the leakage of the question papers.

According to our source, the government’s decision to use “the two ultimate slayers of the English language to mark the English Language paper is in line with the earlier decision to use security operatives who have no experience in teaching to select exams questions for the 438,030 candidates who registered to write the examinations in 1,446 centres across the country.”

Our source also hinted that the ministry is currently considering plans to contract KKD and Asamoah Gyan to mark the Religious and Moral Education 2 papers.
