Goodlife FM, one of the radio stations under Groupe Ndoum Media has donated items worth thousands of cedis to Hour of Grace Children’s Home at Huhunya in the Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region.
The items donated by the Koforidua based FM station included 10 bags of rice , fowls, assorted drinks, toiletries, washing and bathing soaps, cloths, slippers, loaves of bread, and many others.
The station Manager, Ms. Fanta Soku, said the station embarked on the exercise because it cared about the welfare of the children, particularly the vulnerable ones and would therefore do everything possible to ensure that the station contributes to their upkeep.
She thanked the management, staff and listeners of Goodlife FM for making the donations possible through their contributions. The donation which began last year has now become an annual event. Receiving the donations, the secretary of the Hour of Grace Home, Enoch Tettey, expressed gratitude to Goodlife FM and called for more of such support from institutions and organizations to support the education of the children.
