Ghanaian Leaders Must Emulate Nkrumah’s Leadership Skills-Apostle Amoako

The general overseer of Freedom Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Atta has pronounced that aside Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who exhibited traits of a  natural born leader, Ghana, has only had managers and not leaders taken over as presidents.

A leader is known to lead or command a group, organisation, or a country whilst a manager, is a person responsible for controlling or administering an organisation.

It is on this note that the revered man of God explained that Ghana’s failure to achieve economic growth, is largely due to electing managers who could only manage situations and not leaders who can come up unique ideas of turning things around.

“In my opinion, a true leader finds something to die for while a true manager finds something to live for. I will plead all our leaders to make a self-examination to know where they belong”, he said.

Apostle Francis Amoako Atta continued on ATV’s Anopa Bosuo show that “managers are happy when praised by their people but leaders are happy when criticised”.

He therefore advised all electorates “to be very decisive in electing a leader”.

He remarked that leaders “are elected to solve problems”.
