The Foundation for Security and Development in Africa (FOSDA), on Wednesday commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s intervention in the Togo political crisis.

She therefore, urged the President to remain objective and promote compliance to the ECOWAS Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance and other relevant ECOWAS protocols.

She said: "This intervention has come at the opportune time and we urge the government, the various political parties in Togo, CSOs and other stakeholders to heed to President Akufo-Addo's call for compromises and accommodation where necessary."
