Two Feared Dead in Dagomba, Kokomba Clash Over A Pig
Two persons are feared dead with several houses in the Nakpachie community in the Yendi Municipality of the Northern Region burnt after a clash erupted between Dagombas and Konkombas.
Preliminary report from the Northern Regional Police Headquarters indicates another person also suffered a gunshot wound.
Information gathered by TV3 shows that the clash began after a pig belonging to a Konkomba was shot and killed by a Dagomba man after it strayed into his farm and destroyed produce on the farm.
A group of Konkomba men in an attempt to retrieve the gun from the Dagomba mistakenly shot at the Dagomba man and injured him in the process.
