They will mingle with a host of European royalty in London tonight to celebrate the Prince of Wales' landmark 70th birthday, so it's no wonder Kate and Meghan ensured they pulled out all the stops. 

Both Duchesses were clearly determined to add a touch of sparkle to proceedings by accessorising their outfits with jaw-dropping diamond earrings, while both wore their hair swept back in voluminous updos. 

Kate, who was wearing a pink evening gown sported drop earrings featuring a pear shaped central stone surrounded by diamonds, which she previously wore to the BAFTAs in 2017 and the 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner in 2011.
