#NDCdecides2018: Joshua Akamba Wins National Organiser Position…Chief Azorka Is Nat. Vice Chairman

A Deputy National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Joshua Hamidu Akamba has won the National Organizer position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Delegates' congress ongoing at the Trade Fair centre in La, Accra.

Provisional results received saw Joshua Akamba getting 3087 out of the 8,325 total votes cast.

His closest contenders; former Akwatia MP, Baba Jamal got 2107 and a former National Organiser seeking to come back, Yaw Boateng Gyan received 1843 votes.

A total of 9 votes were rejected.

Meanwhile, Chief Sofo Azorka, has been elected as a National Vice Chairman of the party.

He will join two other vice chairpersons who will lead the NDC; ahead of the 2020 elections.
