Nana B Urges Ofosu-Ampofo To Apologize

The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been asked to eat humble pie following his infamous leaked tape.

The NDC Chairman and a deputy National Communication Officer, Kweku Boahen are on trial over a leaked tape in which they called for attacks on the Electoral Commissioner, Madam Jean Mensa and the Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante during a meeting with party communicators.

In the leaked tape, Ofosu-Ampofo allegedly said “We must wage a relentless war on this EC Chair. Me, she doesn’t want to see my face.”

Even though he claimed the tape has been doctored, the CID after investigations charged him with conspiracy to cause harm and assault against a Public Officer.

On Tuesday, he in the company of some other party executives and Ex-President John Mahama appeared in court.

Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to May 16th, 2019.

National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B during Thursday’s edition of Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ urged Ofosu-Ampofo to apologise.

He said since the case is in court, “he can take that opportunity to apologise in court.”
