Xenophobic Tendencies: Subin MP Condemns Attacks On Nigerians

Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Eugene Boakye Antwi has asked Ghanaians to stop attacking Nigerians since they are not the only criminals in the country.

A group of unidentified men have forcibly closed down about 20 shops owned and operated by Nigerians at the Suame Magazine in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

This follows the arrest of the kidnappers who took hold of two Canadian girls in the same region and other unconfirmed reports that most of the crimes that occur in the country are committed by Nigerians.

Reacting to this in a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Tuesday, Eugene Boakye Antwi said even though some Nigerians are involved in criminal activities in the country, “there are also some good ones as well; hence there is no need to take the law into your own hands.”
