Parliamentary Primaries: NDC To Vote On 24th August; Aspirants Cautioned

General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has disclosed that the party is ready to holding its parliamentary primaries on the 24th of August, 2019.

According to him, this is according to the party’s time table scheduled for their various election processes.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that with the exception of those constituencies that have problems and are not done with the election processes, the rest will go on as planned.

He however cautioned aspirants who are making ambiguous promises.

"They should not forget that it will go against them when they are elected into office. They should be very careful of what they tell their aspirants when they go campaigning," he added.

But for now, I can explain that the party is more than prepared to carry out with our elections to elect candidates who will help secure victory for the party come 2020.

The exercise is expected to take place across all the 275 constituencies in the country.
