If Turkey Does Anything That I Consider To Be Off Limits, I'll Destroy And Obliterate Their Economy' - Trump

US President Donald Trump has threatened to destroy Turkey's economy totally if the Turkish military 'does what he doesn't like, hours after the US administration changed it's foreign policy in North Estern Syria by pulling out it's military.

Trump has been heavily criticized even by his republican base after the US announced Monday that it will be pulling out it's military from North Eastern Syria, a move that will embolden Turkey to invade North Eastern Syria and launch an offensive against the Syrian Democratic Forces also known as SDF, Kurds or Kurdish military.

Turkey views the Kurds as Terrorists and have made their intention of destroying them public claiming their presence in North Eastern Syria which shares a border with Turkey is a threat to the Turkish nation.

The Kurds are strong US allies in Syria and helped the US in launching attacks against the ISIS caliphate the last 4 years. They believe Trump's withdrawal of the US army from North East Syria leaves them vulnerable and is a betrayal, especially after all the good work done in fighting and destroying ISIS in Syria.

But Trump, in his usual 'Trumpian' style of engaging in foreign diplomacy, stated he has a red line, and will not fail to deal with Turkey if they attack the Kurds.

"As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I've done before!)," Mr Trump wrote on Twitter Monday.

He continued: "They must, with Europe and others, watch over the captured ISIS fighters and families. The US has done far more than anyone could have ever expected, including the capture of 100% of the ISIS Caliphate. It is time now for others in the region, some of great wealth, to protect their own territory. THE USA IS GREAT!"

Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump's  staunchest supporters in the senate and Republican party during an interview on "Fox and Friends" condemned the move by the president, she said
"This impulsive decision by the President has undone all the gains we've made, thrown the region into further chaos. Iran is licking their chops. And, if I'm an Isis fighter I've got a second lease on life. So to those who think Isis has been defeated you will soon see."

Meanwhile the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have warned that they are ready to defend their territories in northern Syria should Turkey follow through with its plans for an invasion.  “We will not hesitate to turn any unprovoked [Turkish] attack into an all-out war,” the Syrian pro-government news website Al-Masdar News.
