GIJ To Celebrate 60 Years Of Promoting Communication Excellence In Ghana

As part of celebrating its 60th Anniversary, the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), will be holding a grand durbar under the theme : "Celebrating Our Past: Inspiring Our Future".

The event which comes off on 16th October, 2019, at GIJ's new site at North Dzorwulu, is to mark the institution's years of promoting communication excellence in Ghana.

In a statement released to invite all alumni, stakeholders, students and the general public to join in the celebration, it read:

Management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism wishes to inform all stakeholders especially our Alumni, that the tickets to the Dinner and Gala Night, scheduled to take place at the Round Pavilion, Trade Fair on Saturday, 19th of October is now out on sale.
The price specifications are as follows:
VIP - GHC 300
VVIP - 500
Alumni Year-Group Tables (branded for 10 people) - GHC 5,000
5. Corporate Tables (branded for 10 people) - GHC 20,000

Tickets can be purchased at the school’s reception and the SRC Office.

The Wogbe Jeke man - Amandzeba, Okyeame Kwame, alongside the National Police Band will be treating us to some good live performances while we enjoy lots of meal and drinks.

Meanwhile, participation in the Grand Durbar which is on Wednesday the 16th of October at the GIJ New Site in Dzorwulu remains FREE and opened to everyone.
