2019 Ghana Bloggers Summit: Hon. Oppong Nkrumah & Nigerian Billionaire Blogger Linda Ikeji To Deliver Keynote Address

Minister for Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Nigerian Billionaire Blogger, Linda Ikeji are set to deliver the keynote speech at the 2019 Ghana Bloggers Summit holding in Accra, Ghana in November.  

They will be speaking alongside other influential bloggers and journalists at SB Incubator, Silver Star Towers Airport City, Accra. 

The much anticipated event, which begins on Friday, November 1, 2019 and ends on Saturday, November 2, 2019, is the inaugural convention of bloggers, digital influencers and journalists. The aim of the summit, hosted by Advance Media, is to network, learn and share knowledge in Ghana. 

According to Prince Akpah, the MD of Avance Media, the summit is expected to bring together speakers and participants from all over the world to discuss how to reposition the image of Ghana on the online space and become a destination for aspiring bloggers to begin their career. 

Some of the topics that will be discussed at the summit include: The impact of journalism on blogging, The Business of Blogging: The 2020 Agenda for Africans, Making money with Google – AdSense best practices, Building a Media Company out of a Blog, How to create and manage a sports blog, Towards Election 2020; Headline Writing and SEO in a Social Media Era of Fake News and Building Yourself as an Influencer with an Engaged Following.

The summit will also feature presentations from Google Digital Skill for Africa program, unveiling of the Linda Ikeji TV (LITV) App and the announcement of the winner of the 2019 Blog4SDGs competition, which was created to give an opportunity to young people to create blogs to promote the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.
