President John Dramani Mahama is expected in his State of the Nation Address today to extensively look at the economy and announce further measures aimed at diversifying it.

Incentives for Ghana's Private Sector and shifting from over dependence on the country's traditional export commodities like gold and cocoa will also feature in the address.

Director of Communications at the Presidency Ben Dotsei Malor says Ghanaians should not expect promises in the President's address as President Mahama's focus is not to become popular but work to address the many challenges confronting the ordinary Ghanaian.
