First Atlantic Bank has opened an ultramodern branch at the Airport Residential area as part of its expansion drive.

In her welcome address, the Board Chairperson of the bank, Mrs. Karen Akiwumi Tanoh stated that the bank has re-invented itself in keeping up with the increasing demands of its esteemed customers.

According to Mrs. Tanoh, the launch which is the third after Spintex Road and American House forms part of efforts by the Board and Management of First Atlantic Bank to bring closer to their customers a bank that is tuned to the discipline of global best practices and the passion of delivering a refreshingly different banking experience for every one that honours their business.

“Our branch roll-outs is a testimony of our strong belief in the resilience of the Ghanaian economy and its long term prospects,” The Board Chairperson concluded.

Mr. Gabriel Edgal, Managing Director and CEO of First Atlantic Bank mentioned that the Airport branch is a full service branch that offers everything across most banking categories – Corporate, Commercial, Retail, Institutional and Electronic banking. And for those who want a more intimate relationship with the bank, First Atlantic Bank has a unique Private bank offering.

Mr. Edgal further stated the bank would help support the productive sector, especially businesses that generate foreign exchange to reduce the impact on trade deficits today and this the bank is already doing by forming strategic alliances with partners within the region and internationally to support trade.

“First Atlantic Bank shall act as a conduit for the inflow of investments, remittances and the required capital into the country and we are going out there to look for businesses and countries that have surplus, and we will channel it into Ghana, as our contribution to the much needed capital for development.

“The bank will be dynamic and responsive, to the needs of all our customers and this we will do that by providing what we have come to refer to as the Purple Experience which is a distinctly different service, delivered to you by a team that are extremely passionate with the desire to create value,” Mr. Edgal assured.

The Executive Director of First Atlantic Bank, Mr. Daniel W. Addo announced that the bank was in an aggressive expansion mode and will open a new branch every month till the end of the year and he encouraged those who are not yet customers of First Atlantic Bank, to wake up to the Purple Experience and Breathe in the Difference.

First Atlantic Bank is a full-scale universal bank with about 20 years' experience in the Ghanaian market. Originally founded as a merchant bank, First Atlantic Bank has won several awards recognizing its excelling leadership in customer care, trade finance and corporate banking.
