Ghana Cocoa Board announced on Monday that the 2011 light crop season will open on June 10.
A statement signed by the Chief Executive, Mr Tony Fofie, said
the producer price to be paid at all buying centres would be GH�96 per
load of 30 kilograms for grade 1 and grade 11 cocoa beans naked
ex-scale or GH�200 per bag of 64 kilograms gross.
A ton of 16 bags is GH�3,200, it said.
