The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning as part of the 2012 budget preparation and in a bid to deepen the participatory budget process has held discussions with key stakeholders in the country chaired by Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
A statement from the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Accra on Friday, said the meeting discussed the macro-economic performances of the country in 2011.
Other key issues discussed include the impact of the Single Spine Salary Structure on government expenditure, the contribution of gold mining and other extractive industr'
