The Department of Women acting in partnership with the Business Advisory Centre (BAC) of the National Board for Small-Scale Industries (NBSSI), has organized a business management workshop for some selected traders as part of efforts at helping them to adopt best practices.
It brought together more than 50 participants drawn mainly from the Kumasi Central Market. They were among other things exposed to basic skills in bookkeeping, stock taking and customer relations.
Mr Benson Adjei, Atwima-Nwabiagya District Officer of the BAC, said the goal was to aid them to grow their businesses.
He noted that cash flow and control management were essential for the survival and expansion of any business.
