RadioXYZonline.com can confirm that an Accra High Court has ordered telecommunication giants MTN Ghana to restore the mobile service of Dr. Raymong Atuguba within 30 minutes during the preliminary hearing of the epoch-making case on Tuesday.
Dr. Atuguba who was the Executive Secretary of the Constitutional Review Commission, sued SCANCOM Gh. Ltd. operators of MTN and the Attorney General for the truncation of service to his mobile phone line.
A writ filed by Dr. Atuguba at the High Court in Accra is therefore seeking compensation for, among other things, the infractions on his “legal rights to life, property, association, information, work, and communication.”
The substantive case is however yet to be heard by the court.
