Travelers hoping to fly to Kumasi can do so from Thursday as the Ghana Airport Company has announced the Kumasi Airport will resume normal operations at 2pm.
The Airport was closed down last weekend for repair works on the runway, but the contractors working at the airport managed to complete the work before schedule.
Airlines plying the Accra-Kumasi route have told Citi News, they are beginning work immediately.
According to the Director of Flight Operations at Antrak Air, William Asare �we have passed a notification to airmen that the air field is opened from 1400hrs today, this means that we have to get the ground rolling. Those who are interested in flying should get themselves prepared. Business activities can go on now effectively. Antrak has its own flight departing from Accra at 2:20 pm.��
Meanwhile, another operator Starbow said it will resume service to Kumasi on Thursday afternoon at 4: 45pm.
