Fidelity Bank and Standard Chartered Bank have been ordered to vacate all occupants in their branches which are situated around the collapsed Melcom Shopping Mall in Achimota.
A District Magistrate Court on Wednesday ordered all occupants of buildings situated around the collapsed Melcom Shopping Mall to vacate their buildings.
The move is to help city authorities to ascertain the structural integrity of the buildings.
Fidelity Bank which shares a compound with the collapsed Melcom building has been closed to business since the incident occurred and is currently vacating the premises.
Standard Charted bank has sent out a message to its clients that it will temporally close its Achimota branch and halt ATM services there.
