The Monetary Policy Committee, M.P.C has maintained the policy rate at 15%.
This is the second successive time the M.P.C has maintained the rate at 15% in the build up to the 2012 general election.
According to the Acting Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Kofi Wampah, the risks to inflation and growth are balanced and the Committee has decided to maintain the policy rate at 15%.
