Ghana is hoping to realize more than one point one million Ghana cedis from its petroleum resources for the 2013 fiscal year.
This is based on an estimated average crude price of 94 point 36 Dollars per barrel and a daily production of more than 83 thousand barrels.
This comprises monies that will accrue from royalties, corporate taxes, and surface rentals.
The Acting Director of the Real Sector Division of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu made this known at a post budget seminar for the Parliamentary Press Corps in Accra.
He said 2012 fiscal year experienced improvement in the production of crude oil even though there were some challenges in the first half of the year.
