In the month of October, organizations all over the world have dedicated a day and sometimes a week to appreciate their customer for the value they continue to receive from them but Ecobank has gone beyond a week to dedicate the whole of October to thank and appreciate its customers for choosing to stay with the bank.
According to the Managing Director of Ecobank Mr. Daniel Sackey, the appreciation from the bank is in order as the customers’ choice in Ecobank is what is keeping the bank in business today.
Launching the month of October as the appreciation month, the Ecobank MD said that “to him or her more is given, more is expected. You have given us so much and in return, we are assuring you of a commitment to a new level of service that will make it easy and convenient for you to bank and transact with us”.
He stressed that Ecobank has enhanced its internet banking platform functionalities and the Ecobank online service to make it easy for its consumer customers to use whenever and wherever they find themselves.
“Together with the Ecobank Mobile App with Ecobank Pay, you can safely and securely bank around the clock. You will never need to waste time to wait in a branch. All you need in online and mobile banking is available to you”, he assured.
He added that “the all-new OMNI Lite, a digital banking solution, has been specially designed to help our clients in Commercial Banking to manage their business accounts and payments more easily and help their business to grow faster and go further”.
He reiterated that the Ecobank has Omni plus for Corporate Clients which is a valuable portal to manage Corporate Banking transactions and information online seamlessly; emphasizing that these digital solutions are instant, allowing customers to process transactions across the large Pan-African network.
“They are also affordable, which means that you can access reliable digital financial services at the lowest cost. Our self-service banking model ensures that you have the power and control to transact whenever you decide”, he assured.
He again indicated that Ecobank has dedicated multi-cultural and lingual contact center support which is toll-free to help customers to bank with easy should they run into any difficulties in the course of their online and internet banking.
“You deserve to control how you bank. At Ecobank, we understand this. There is no need for our customers to go to the banking hall. If they must, it should be for specialized advisory services. Dr. Isaac Baah, Head of Client Engagement for Ecobank Ghana, speaking to Peacefomline.com mentioned the need to show appreciation to their customers as they are the reason for the Ecobank to remain in business.
“…this is a special month that we have dedicated for our customers and it is basically for the whole of Ecobank to let our customers know that we appreciate everything that they have done for us”, he stated.
He stressed that “the customer is business and so without the customer, none of us will have any business; none of us will have any job and that is the whole thing. We are in employment because of our customer and that is why even though others are doing customers week, we decided to go beyond the week and dedicated a whole month for our customers”.
He, however, disclosed that there will be a lot of surprises for Ecobank customers in the entire month of October, urging its customers to follow the bank on all its social media platforms.
