Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta says the Nana Addo-led government has registered the lowest rate in inflation in decades.
“We have registered the lowest rate of inflation in 27 years. When the inflation rate slows down, it favors everyone.” He said.
The minister is laying before parliament the Budget Statement and Economic Policy for 2020 in line with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution and section 21 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 [Act 921].
Addressing Parliament November 13, 2019, soft spoken Ken Ofori-Atta also noted that in spite of the ‘tsunami’ that hit the banking sector, it is on the rise again.
