Billions around the globe are gearing up to welcome 2015 in style and in the southern hemisphere, preparations for New Years Eve are well under way.
Thousands of have already started the festivities in Sydney, where 1.6million are expected to fill the infamous Harbour to see the annual fireworks display.
The harbour is expected to dazzle as 50 vessels carrying over 8,000 people erupt in light shortly after the first round of fireworks at 9pm.
