The Progressive People’s Party, PPP is attributing the poor performance of students to inadequate teacher motivation, low remuneration and poor condition of service.

The party has therefore promised to build the capacity of teachers, introduce financial rewards and make teachers to feel proud of their profession rather than perceive it as a means to an end.

The PPP Parliamentary candidate for Wa Central, James Sohimwinye made the statement at a news conference in Wa.
