Public and private tertiary institutions in the Ashanti Region are set to admit a greater number of the third and fourth year Senior High School (SHS) graduates who will meet the requirements for the 2013/2014 academic year.
The schools are adjusting their academic programmes, putting finishing touches to their expanded infrastructure, rescheduling opening dates especially for the fresh intake, even as they await their results.
Our correspondent who toured some of the schools says authorities of most of the institutions have therefore allayed the fears of the public, that only a few of the prospective students could gain admission.
