The MP for Takoradi, Kwabena Otchere Darko-Mensah, says the proposed three-storey library complex for the city is still on course.
He says the plan is to have a complex that can address the educational and entrepreneurial needs of the people.
He told Radio Ghana correspondent that though the library has been on the drawing board for four years, other pressing needs had to be tackled first.
He bemoaned the rate at which public lands in the metropolis are being encroached upon.
