The Asogli Education Fund is worth GH¢300,000.00 Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia Asogli hinted on Sunday.
“That means no child in the area with the intent of going to school at whatever level should drop out because of economic reasons,” he stated.
Togbe Afede was addressing scores of children from all the divisions of Asogli at his residence after feting them. He told the children not to only long for high laurels but work towards them.
Togbe Afede said a student should be conscientious, and do his or her homework regularly, as well as revise what had been taught before going back to the classroom.
He therefore entreated the children to shun bad company and reject narcotic drugs. The children had biscuits, toffees and soft drinks among other goodies.
They treated the gathering, which included chiefs from the traditional area, to poems, songs, Bible quotations and dance.
