The University of Ghana has postponed the start of the 2014/2015 academic year due to the on-going industrial action by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).
A statement signed by E.A. Amartey, Acting Registrar, asked all students, parents and the general public are to be informed that the university would not reopen for the 2014/2015 academic year as previously announced.
The university will announce new dates for the start of the 2014/15 academic year in due course, the statement said.
