Parents of wards in Senior High Schools must brace themselves up to pay a little more in fees as a result of the power crisis currently facing the nation.
President of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, CHASS, Samuel Ofori Adjei told Radio Ghana, that, the increase in fees will enable those schools which have generators to buy fuel to power them.
He said although, the students currently pay some amount for utility fees, that is woefully inadequate to fuel generators.
He also spoke of the need for the schools to make the most out of day time light.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the Komfo AnokyeTeaching Hospital, Kwame Frimpong, says the hospital has procured a stand-by plant to augment its power supply in case power goes off.
