Central University Opens Kumasi Campus

As Central University became a fully-fledged university early this year, it has opened a new ultra-modern campus in the historic city of Kumasi to admit students for the 2016/2017 academic year.

The modern campus which is equipped with modern facilities for learning and research is adjacent the beautiful and serene grounds of the popular Calvary Charismatic Church (CCC).

The Kumasi campus was established to bring Central University‘s global brand of transformational and top-quality education to the people of the Ashanti Region and its environs.

The Kumasi campus which will admit students for the 2016/17 academic year, when the academic year begins in September, will run programmes including Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management, Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Theology.

Additionally, the Kumasi Campus will run Post Graduate programmes including, MBA Finance, MBA Marketing, and MBA General Management.

The Kumasi campus adds to the growing number of campuses of Central University. The other campuses are Mataheko, Christ Temple and the permanent campus at Miotso.

Central University which became a fully-fledged University early this year is the biggest private university in Ghana, with students from over 25 countries studying there.

The University offers a wide range of quality programs through its 4 Schools and 2 Faculties. The Schools are; School of Applied Sciences, School of Theology and Missions, Central Business School and the Graduate School. The faculties are; Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
