The Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF), has presented scholarship packages (school bags, Note 3 books, exercise books, text books, etc.) worth ₵75,000.00 Ghana cedis to 200 needy but brilliant pupils under her BAF Mentee Scholarship programme at Abetifi in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.

Mrs. Rejoice Komla, who represented the District Director of Education, exhorted the beneficiaries to be confident in their ability to excel in their academics and give out their best to achieve greater height.

She expressed her profound gratitude to the Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF) for the support, recounting the tremendous support that the foundation had offered the Educational Directorate of the Kwahu East District.

Other educational activities of the foundation (BAF) include the provision of scholarships to teachers to pursue their first degree and master’s degree programmes; free distribution of school uniform to pupils and many more.

The District Chief Executive representative at the launch, Mr. Richard Nana Owusu, lauded the foundation for the great initiative and tasked BAF not to repent in her support for needy but brilliant students in the district; emphasizing that, such gesture by the foundation, aligns largely with Government’s vision of providing education for every child in the country whether rich or poor in other to equip the youth with requisite knowledge and skills to build the human capital.

He charged the 200 beneficiaries to make the Bryan Acheampong Foundation, their parents, teachers and the district proud.

A beneficiary, Gifty Mensah, a pupil of Abetifi Presbyterian primary ‘B’ touched the gathering when she noted that,

“I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. My father did his best but could not continue. I thank Bryan Acheampong Foundation for this support and I will make the best of it,” she stated.
