Dr Samuel Awinkene Atintono, the Principal of Accra College of Education, on Tuesday said the College was ready to receive the 320 final year students to prepare for their exit examination.
The students would report on June 22 and complete on July 4, 2020.
He said adequate measures had been taken including disinfection and fumigation of the school by the Zoomlion Company Limited with the Government presenting 1,342 personal protective equipment for the use of students, where each was entitled to four face masks.
Dr Atintono told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that the College would ensure all classes operate with half the class sizes whereas teaching would be for a week and examination would start.
Management would ensure that the students wore their nose masks to and from the lecture halls and on campus, he said.
On the day of arrival the students’ temperatures would be checked and that would continue on a daily basis throughout their stay on campus.
Dr Atintono said the dormitories had been rearranged to ensure social distancing and enhanced personal hygiene protocols by students.
Meanwhile the first and second year students are currently receiving lectures online at home.
